Governor’s Small Business Forum

Small businesses account for around 80 percent of new job creation in the nation.

The Austin–San Antonio corridor is rapidly growing and our small businesses have much to gain from these booming times – but what and how can they take advantage?

What are some of the challenges and opportunities that women entrepreneurs are facing? How can the veterans who so bravely defended our country come home and translate their leadership skills from the military into opening their own shops?

All of this and more will be featured at the 2016 Governor’s Small Business Forum on September 1, hosted in partnership between the Office of the Governor: Greg Abbott, Texas Workforce Commission, Workforce Solutions and the Greater San Marcos Partnership.
