Subject: Official Notice of Construction & Road Closure
Starting March 9, 2026, there will be Road Closure West and East bound on Cotton Gin Road just East at the intersection of Cotton Gin Road & Summer Sun Cove. Anticipated time for completion will be May 26, 2026. Message boards will be installed for 5 days beginning March 2, 2026 to notify residents of the upcoming changes to traffic patterns.
The work being performed will consist of Drainage Improvements (Large Box Culverts), Road Demo and Reconstruction (Subgrade Prep, Base, Asphalt), Concrete Improvements, (Curb, Cast in Place Headwalls). During construction traffic will be detoured through N. Plum Creek Road & High Road.
In effort to expedite the opening of Cotton Gin Road, work hours will be from 7:00 AM To 7:00 PM Monday through Saturday.
Drivers are asked to obey traffic warning signs, watch for heavy equipment and flaggers.
